Setting Up Users to Receive Automated Reports

In this article, we will go over how to set up a user profile so that they can receive automated reports if an email and phone number were not added when their user profile was created. We will also go over how you can pause, stop, or delete the report for a user.

NOTE: In order to receive automated reports a user must have an email or phone number added to their user profile. For a detailed review of how to add a new user please see the Resource Center article Adding a New User.

How to Manage a User Profile 

To manage a user profile so that they can receive automated reports:

1. Log onto your Guardtek web portal as a Supervisor.

2. Hover over the Settings module and click Users.

3. Click the Last Name / First Name / Username field and type in the last name, first name or username of the user you want to set up automated reports for.

Or click the green Search button for a complete list of Users in your system.

4. Click on the green pencil edit icon in the Action column.

5. On the General Information page add the user's Email and Phone number.

6. Click the green UPDATE button at the bottom right-hand corner of the page.

 

How to Pause, Stop or Delete an Automated Report

NOTE:  This is how you can pause, stop, or delete the report for a user, but it doesn't stop it for any other users receiving the report or completely deleting the report from Automatic Reports.

To pause or stop automated reports for a User:

1. Log onto your Guardtek web portal as a Supervisor.

2. Hover over the Settings module and click Users.

3. Click the Last Name / First Name / Username field and type in the last name, first name or username of the user you want to pause or stop the automated reports for.

4. Click on the green envelope icon.

5. To pause or stop the automated report click on the green checkmark circle in the Status column.

The green checkmark circle will now display as a red circle X icon indicating the automated report will not be sent out as scheduled.

6. To delete an automated report click the checkbox in the green trashcan icon column.  When the blue checkmark appears click the green trashcan icon to delete the automated report.
