In this article, we will go over how to edit an existing post order and how to view the edit history.
How to Edit an Existing Post Order
To edit an existing post order :
1. Log onto the GuardTek web portal as an Admin or Supervisor.
2. Hover over the Post Orders module and click Add New Post Order.
3. Find the post order you want to edit and click the Edit button.
4. Make all desired changes in the pop-up window.
5. Click the green Update button at the bottom right-hand corner of the pop-up window.
How to View a Post Order Edit History
To view a post order edit history:
1. Log onto the GuardTek web portal as an Admin or Supervisor.
2. Hover over the Post Orders module and click Add New Post Order.
3. Find the post order for which you want to view the edit history and click on the icon in the History column.
4. The pop-up window will show you in the Activity column that the instructions or post orders have a Modification and the Date and the Name of the person who made the modification.
NOTE: GuardTek system will automatically save and archive the previous version, including all history acknowledgments.
The old version will be renamed using the old name + archived+ archived date.
5. To view archived instructions or post order, click the Search Details drop-down menu, toggle the View archived option to Yes, and click the green Search button at the bottom right-hand corner of the page.
6. Click the green eye icon to view the archived post orders.
