IN this article we will answer the frequently asked question, why do I get the error, "Unknown Tag" when Scanning a Tag?
Tag is scanning as "Unknown Tag".
The serial number displays and appears on logbook as unknown.
The tag has not yet been added in GuardTek.

Pop up appears "Unknown Tag" and does not display on the logbook.
There could be a conflict, the tag might have been added as two separate types or tag could be damaged.
The tag will most likely have to be replaced.
