Release notes for October 2026

✨ What's new

Brand new! Here are the latest updates at GuardTek:

  1. Advanced administration API: a new API for managing user permissions, security and audit trails consistently.
  2. Customer and billing numbers (internal): a module reserved for our internal teams to streamline the tracking of orders and associated licences

🚀 Improvements

  1. Lone worker monitor: the page loads faster. Alerts are also refreshed every 3 seconds, even when the tab is in the background, so that no alerts are missed, and its event log is no longer hidden by the wizard. Its title can also be clicked to collapse or expand it.
  2. Modernised interface: the old pages for the Instructions, Support, Analysis, Messages and Key Settings modules have been replaced with the new versions.
    1. Event reports use the new instructions window, which can be configured for the report and for each field condition.
    2. In the anomaly monitor, the Messages tab now opens the new inbox.
  3. User management: a new permission lets you reset a user’s password from the view mode, without being able to edit the rest of their profile.
  4. Security: new customers now get a stronger password policy by default. It requires at least 8 characters with one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter and one number, and passwords expire every 180 days.

🛠️ Fixes

  1. Individual check-in report: checkpoint passage times once again match those displayed in the patrol details. A time difference could appear.
  2. Equipment checks: campaign notifications are being sent again and correctly indicate the name of the item checked.
  3. Command Center: the “View PTT history” link now correctly opens the PTT recordings page instead of displaying a 404 error.
  4. Rounds Excel export: exported times match the logbook again. A time offset could appear.
  5. Round analysis: all tabs of the Excel export now show the same number of rounds for the same search.
  6. Automatic reporting: periodic reports are sent again after their settings are saved, even when nothing was changed.
  7. Roles: the custom authorization level set on a role is now applied when creating a user.
  8. Equipment inspection: the number of items shown for upcoming campaigns now matches the items selected.
