Searching Parking Violations

In this article, we will cover how to search for parking violations. 

 

How to Search Parking Violations

To search parking violations:

1. Log onto your GuardTek web portal as an Admin or Supervisor.

2. Select the Property Location you want to search for parking violations in the drop-down menu at the upper right-hand corner of the page.

3. Click the green circle plus icon to access the secondary list of modules.

4. Hover over the Vehicles module and click Parking Violations.

NOTE: By default, you will be on the Violations tab. Only violations that have not expired (exceeded their "Combinable" value in the Violations Group Type section) will display.

5. Click the Filters Icon 2023-gt-us-img(funnel) to display filters.
These filters will adjust the list immediately (except "Violation date")

You may filter by Violation Types, Violation Sanctions, expiration status, and date range (Click Search after selecting a date range).

Click the Filters Icon 2023-gt-us-img(funnel) again to close the filter display.

You may also view the report submitted for this violation. Click the Details Icon 2023-gt-us-img (Eye)

You will also have the option to print, create a PDF file or email the report.

How to Delete a Violation

You can click the green trashcan icon in the Delete column at the far right on the Violations page.

Click the Delete Icon  (Trashcan) to delete the violation.

You will be asked to confirm. Click "OK" 2023-gt-us-img to confirm.

 

How to Search a Parking Violation by Vehicle

You may search for violations by vehicle. 

1. Log onto your GuardTek web portal as an Admin or Supervisor.

2. Select the Property Location you want to search for parking violations in the drop-down menu at the upper right-hand corner of the page.

3. Click the green circle plus icon to access the secondary list of modules.

4. Hover over the Vehicles module and click Parking Violations.

5. Click on the Vehicles tab.

All vehicles that have received violations will appear on the list.

The vehicle's license plate will display in the "License plate" column.

The Driver will display in the "Driver" column.

You may assign or change a driver by clicking the Edit Icon (pencil).

You may select a driver from the pull-down menu.
This menu pulls information from the Tenant/Employee List in Visitor Management.

If the vehicle is excluded (not allowed on the property/parking area), it will be displayed in the "Exclusion" column.

The last violation's date will be displayed in the "Last violation date" column.
Click the blue text to view the violation history of this vehicle.

You will see the complete history of this vehicle.

The Violation Date, Violation expiration date (if applicable), Violation Type, Sanction, and Associated Tag will all display in their appropriate columns.

You may also view the report submitted for this violation. Click the Details Icon (Eye)

6. Click Close when done viewing.
