7. Create an Inspection Campaign

This article will guide you through creating your first Inspection Campaign. The full configuration is split into two parts: this article covers Campaign setup, and the next will cover its final scheduling.

Think of an Inspection Campaign as a list of objects to be checked.

Accessing Campaigns

1. Go to the Equipment Inspections page in the Activities menu.

2. Make sure you are on the correct Site using the dropdown in the top right corner. Then go to the Campaigns tab.

3. This tab displays all existing Campaigns.

Edit a Campaign

1. Simply click on the row of the Campaign you want to modify.
Note however that only Campaigns that have not yet started can be edited. Campaigns already in progress or completed have their configurations locked (fields are greyed out and non-interactive).

2. This displays the editing panel with the Campaign Name, its selection mode (by Types or by Zones), a list of all available Elements based on the chosen mode (allowing you to refine your selection using the checkboxes), followed by a summary of all Elements included in the Campaign and the Zones concerned.

3. Once your changes are made, click Save to close the panel.

Create a Campaign

1. Click the blue + New Campaign button in the top right corner.

2. A panel appears to define the Campaign Name and choose an Element selection mode (by Type or by Zone). Then use the field below by checking the desired boxes to select an entire Type or Zone, and refine your selection by unchecking or adding elements as needed.

3. Your active selection is shown below this field under Campaign Items, and the relevant zones under Zones in the Campaign, for reference.

4. Three options close out the panel:

Save Draft: save your settings as-is without activating the Campaign.
Create: save your settings and display the Campaign under the Campaign Calendar tab.
Cancel: discard your settings and close the panel.

5. Only the Create button will display the Campaign on the Calendar tab, allowing you to complete its configuration by defining its schedule (duration, recurrence).

Delete a Campaign

1. Click on the Campaign row you want to delete to open its details.

2. Click the red Delete Campaign button (it will be greyed out if the selected Campaign is already scheduled).

3. A confirmation prompt will appear before the Campaign is permanently deleted.

Next step: Schedule your Campaign (here).
