Recommended Configuration Order

Let's start with an overview of the structure required to correctly run any campaign. The configuration order doesn't strictly matter, but some elements must exist before others can be configured — hence this recommended chronological order.

The first recommended step is to create your zone structure via the Settings > Zones tab, so that you have at least one floor plan, which is a mandatory prerequisite when creating an Element.

Next, we recommend creating your Icons, Templates, Attributes, and Types early on, as they are all required to finalize your Elements (i.e., the objects to be inspected).

  • Icons: Help agents identify statuses and efficiently locate all equipment types to be inspected on floor plans.
  • Templates: These are the activity reports that guide agents in providing all required information during an inspection.
  • Attributes: Identify characteristics (powder, liquid, …) or differences (5kg, 7kg, color, …) to clearly structure and organize your Items.
  • Types: Based on at least one Attribute, they create groups of Items (powder extinguishers, first aid kits, …).

The next step is to create all your Elements (extinguishers, etc.) that will be inspected through your campaign, now that all of the above have been configured.

You are now ready to configure your Campaign — a significant inspection effort to ensure that Items are operational and in their proper place.
