Element: The object that will ultimately need to be individually inspected via mPost.
Examples: Fire Extinguisher N2032, Door A113, …
Attribute: A characteristic (real or fictional) of an Item.
Examples: red, 2kg, push bar, Team A, CO2…
Equipment Type: A mandatory property of every Element that groups together several attributes and has a unique Icon, applying these to all Items of the same type.
Examples: Fire Extinguisher, Fire Door, Class A Extinguisher, …
Zone: A location that can contain a floor plan to help locate your Items, or simply act as an empty container to subdivide underlying zones. Zones serve as your location identifiers.
Examples: Floor +1, Paris 12, Main Building, …
Level: Containers (or "drawers") (max. 5) used to structure your Zones, providing a hierarchy for organizing them.
Examples: Level 1 = Countries, Level 2 = Cities, Level 3 = Sites, Level 4 = Buildings, Level 5 = Floors
Icon: A small image (preferably square) displayed on Zone maps to identify and precisely locate an Item Type.

Inspection Report Template: The report that the inspector must complete when inspecting an Item. Any "No" answer to a "Yes/No" field will generate an Anomaly.
Examples: Class A Fire Extinguisher Inspection Report, Emergency Door Inspection Report, …
Campaign: The final grouping of a selected set of Elements or Zones, named and scheduled.
Examples: General Campaign 2024, Team A Extinguisher Campaign, June '24 First Aid Kit Campaign, Paris Building A Campaign 2025, …
Anomaly: An abnormal condition on an Element that has failed an inspection. Specifically, an Element is flagged as an Anomaly as soon as at least one "Yes/No" question in its inspection report receives a "No" answer. Note: only one anomaly per report.
Examples: defective handle, damaged seal, missing seal, expiry date exceeded, …
Inspection: An action performed by an mPost user who completes an inspection report after identifying an Element. Each inspection is recorded and can be viewed from the Item's history as well as from the Campaign summary.
