What's CASHI ?

The result of several years of development, the CASHI module represents the most ambitious addition to the already extensive features of our GuardTek solution.

To summarize as briefly as possible, CASHI (which stands for Computer Assisted Safety Hardware Inspection) is an assistance and tracking module for periodic inspections of equipment used by intervention teams (firefighters, safety officers, EHS teams, etc.). This covers — but is not limited to — fire extinguishers, fire doors, chemical showers, first aid kits, emergency lighting, and much more.

Of course, this purpose can be adapted to manage inspections of all types of objects (vehicles, tools, furniture, client equipment, etc.) according to your own needs.

This solution enables you to:

  • Monitor and track on-site equipment inspections
  • Centralize all equipment checks and log anomalies
  • Help agents complete inspections and/or reports quickly and efficiently
  • Schedule recurring campaigns
  • Access a desktop view (Post) for management
  • Access a mobile solution (responsive application) for agents

This tool can be used for multiple purposes, such as:

  • Security (access control, cameras, key cabinets, …)
  • Safety (fire extinguishers, hose reels, defibrillators, …)
  • EHS (spill kits, gas detectors, dosimeters, …)
  • Maintenance (tools)
  • Sanitation (hand gel, soap, …)
  • Etc.

CASHI is built around 3 main mechanisms:

  1. An Inventory of Items linked to one or more Campaigns (covered in the Configuration section of this Help Center).
  2. The completion of Inspections by field agents using the mPost application (covered in the Usage section).
  3. The Monitoring and export of these Campaigns (covered in the Usage section).

Finally, the dedicated page is located under the Activities menu and is called Equipment Inspection.
