Certificate Renewal February 2026

Introduction

As part of GuardTek’s security measures, your sites may be protected using one or more special digital certificates that ensure only authorized computers can access the application (this does not apply to mobile applications such as mPost or Protect). We also base our Post licenses on these certificates. Like any security mechanism, however, they all have an expiration date. Certificates recently generated are not impacted. For others:

This expiration date is set for Saturday, February 14, 2026.

To ensure continued access to the application beyond this date, a renewal/replacement campaign for these certificates is absolutely necessary. Our teams have been trained to assist you with this process, even though it is a common IT procedure, and our developers have created a dedicated support page for it.

Rest assured that we fully understand the impact of this campaign on your operations, but this is a cyclical renewal that will keep you up to date for at least 20 years while ensuring the highest level of security for your operations in the future.

Impact

As of that date, all existing certificates that would not be renewed/replaced will be ignored by our authentication chain. As a result, your field teams working on computers will have their access denied with no alternative solution.

Don't hesitate to contact us (your CS or our Support team) to know if you're impacted.

How to replace an existing certificate

  1. From the computer and Windows session used by the agents, log in with your supervisor credentials and go to the Certificate Management page under the Settings menu.
If you do not see this page, please contact our Support team.

The displayed page lists all guardrooms (based on your accesses) that have a certificate:
1 line = 1 certificate.
You can filter this list by clicking on the column headers displaying the filter icon .

  1. Find the guardroom for which you want a new certificate.
Each line is structured as follows:

  1. Click on the icon in the 2nd column to generate a new certificate (after a few seconds of loading, a notification will appear in the upper right corner). This icon will then turn grey and deactivate: the certificate has been generated (this step can be done in advance and for multiple posts consecutively).

  2. Next, click on the icon in the following column (which has now been activated) to download the new certificate. This will:
    1. Download the certificate to the computer (usual Downloads folder)
    2. Display the installation password icon for this certificate only (click the icon and copy the password)
    3. Record the date of the first download
    4. Record the username of the person who downloaded this certificate (for traceability).

  3. You now have a new certificate. It is up to you to decide how to install it on the relevant machines: locally as described above, via USB key, via server script, etc.

  4. Once the new certificate has been installed everywhere it is needed (both certificates may coexist temporarily), please check the box in the Installed column.
WARNING: By checking this box you confirm that the new certificate has been correctly installed on all relevant computers. This box can only be checked once and cannot be unchecked.

This will complete the renewal process for that guardroom and update the progress bar in the upper right corner, helping you (and us) track the overall progress of the project.
