Map View

Module acting as a homepage for the GSOC/Command Center page, this interactive map makes it easy to view the location of mobile teams, sites, critical reports, and devices in alert. Additional options also exist for communicating via PTT (see this section) and performing GPS tracking searches (heatmap, location history).

 

Icons Ribbon

5 buttons allow you to show/hide:

Licensed Devices: shows a drop-down menu to filter app types (mPost, Twig, Protect, ...) but also hide inactive devices.
Devices with alerts: show last known location of devices in LWP alert state.
Sites: show guardrooms according their address as defined in their setup.
Sites with critical events: show guardrooms with at least 1 report (tour or other).
Critical Events: show reports based on their known location.
Vehicles: show vehicles equipped with Protect GPS Tracking app.


Instant Messaging / Emergency Group Messaging

This tab directly displays a little tutorial to select one or several devices using the Shift keyboard button. Once selected the pane will show the number of devices selected and a list of them, uncheckable if needed.
Finally a multi-line text is there to encode a text message that will be individually send to each devices checked in the list.

 

Remark: you can follow multiple devices groups, they're grouped in separated tabs, at the top of this pane. Close a group by clicking the cross that appears when you hover the tab number.

 

Push-To-Talk

This part regroup all elements of the Push-To-Talk module.

Remark: grouped selection, used for Instant Messaging for instance, doesn't work for PTT. You must use channels here. Selecting devices will automatically open folllowing tab: devices.

 

Devices

This part is useful when at least one device is selected on the map.
Active selection stays adaptable using the checkboxes.

Each device is displayed with its name, assigned user, its guardroom, its phone number, its connexion status, its battery level and the exact moment of its last know GPS location.
On the right a danger icon is greyed out, red when there's an ongoing alert (acknowledgeable by clicking on it).

 

The 5 icons on top provide powerful tools:

PTT: this icon allows you to create a temporary PTT channel on-the-go to speak with selected devices.
Instant Messaging: this icon gets you to instant messaging interface to communicate with selected devices.
Heatmap: generate a presence cloud gathering all selected devices movements and present them as a fog/cloud of green-orange-red color range based on recurrence. This icon is only active if at least 2 devices are selected.

Historique GPS: generate a path of all known GPS location (timeframe without location is ignored). Icon only active for 1 device.

Flux Vidéo: active upon alert mode, will display a video/audio stream from the device.

 

Sites

Exclusively usable with Site icons, this pane will show its name, known address and all devices linked. Then several additional buttons:

Shifts: show all scheduled shifts for this site.
Critical Events: show all activity reports for this site.
Geofences: show all entries and exits of GPS areas (if set).
Devices: show all devices with their properties.

 

Vehicles

This icon is to access the details of a vehicle you'd have previously selected on the map.

 

Video Streams

This icon shows the video stream history of the last 24 hours.

 

Map

This interactive map can be used like Google Maps or Bing for instance: moving by holding mouse click, zoom with scroll or pinch (or with icons in upper right corner). Data shown depends on their type (device, report, guardroom).
