Welcome to the Valiant ESS Mobile App. This app affords you access to your information such as pay statements, a view of your schedule and the ability to clock in and out of your shifts.
This information is available to you on demand, anytime and anywhere you have internet access on your mobile device. This app is available via Apple’s App Store and the Android Google Play Store.
In order to use this app, you must first have completed the Employee Self Registration process fully. In addition, you must make sure that the Location Service on your phone is enabled.
After that is completed, you will follow the steps below to activate and start using the Valiant ESS Mobile App on your smart phone.
1. Download and Enroll in the Mobile App
Open the Play Store on your mobile device and type “Valiant Mobile” in the Search bar and select the “Valiant Mobile” application from the list, and then click the Install button to install the application to your mobile device:
Once the installation completes, open the application and it will bring you to the Device Activation screen, where you will need to enter the email address and password associated with your self-service account and press the Activate button in order to activate the application on your device:
The app will prompt you to go through the required registration steps, click on the Start button to continue:
The app will prompt you to create a token for login purposes, enter a 4 digit code of your choosing twice to confirm, or press the Skip button to bypass creating the token:
The app will prompt you to allow Location services on your phone, press the Prompt button to display the prompt on the screen and then choose the "Allow" option to proceed:
The app will prompt you to select your employer and associated Business Unit / Division (it will attempt to populate them with default values if possible), select or verify each of those values and press the Continue button to proceed:
The app will show that registration has been completed, press the Continue button to proceed to the dashboard of the app:
From the dashboard of the app you will be shown a number of options available to select depending on which modules are enabled for your employer:
2. My Schedules
Choosing the “My Schedules” option will navigate into the Schedule portion of the application, where you can select the current scheduled shift on that day to view its details and bring up the respective punch options based on your employer's configured punch ranges, as well as view the details associated with your future shifts (though you will be unable to perform any punch actions until that scheduled day):
Selecting the shift on the current day will show options similar to the following along with any punch actions available at that point:
NOTE: If no punch options are highlighted, then you are currently outside of the configured punch range for the shift in question.
Once a punch action has been performed the time of the punch will be displayed along with any subsequent punch actions that can be selected at that time:
3. Pay Statements
From the Main Menu, choose the “Pay Statements” option:
You will be brought to the following screen showing Payroll related data (if available):
You can then select any of the respective check dates to show the associated Payroll information, and select the "Download & View Statement" option to view the check information in greater detail:
IMPORTANT NOTE: You cannot download a local copy of the statement details to your Mobile device. This can only be done through the Self Service portion of the Portal website itself.
4. My Notifications
From the Main Menu, choosing the “My Notifications” option will display any Notifications sent to your by your employer:

From the Main Menu, choosing the “My Shift Offers” option will display any shift offers sent to your by your employer that you may choose to fill and work if they are open and available:
