Enabling TLS 1.2 on web browsers

*** Your Company IT department may have these setting locked down for security reasons, if that is the case, then you will need to reach out to your IT department to have them update the settings ****

At times when attempting to access the trackforce platform, you may see the following error 


To resolve this issue, open the internet properties (Internet Options) on your computer

For those desktops running Windows 10

  • Type in the Cortana’s search box - “Internet options”
  • When the Internet Options dialog box opens


  • Select the “Advanced Tab”


 You scroll down the settings window, until you see Use SSL 3.0


  • Ensure that TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 are selected. Do not select SSL 3.0


  • After you have updated the selections, press the Apply button (applies the options), and then the OK button (closes the window)


In a small number of cases, this issue may be related to the use of Third-Party anti-virus utilities along with Microsoft Edge.  In these cases, you will need to dis-able the third-party anti-virus utilites

 For those Clients using Apple Safari (version 7 or greater), TLS 1.2 is automatically enabled.
