Generating and adding QR codes to tours

Learn how to generate and print QR codes for tours that can be done in m-Post. 

Overview 

GuardTek efficiently adds QR codes to tours using the m-Post app for Android and iOS. This article explains generating GuardTek QR codes and adding them to tours using m-Post.

Before you start

Here are some things you must do before you start: 

• To enable this feature, please contact your CSM or send a request to successmanagers@trackforce.com. 
• Once enabled, this displays the QR code icon on the Tag Management page under Settings > Tag Mgmt/NFC Tags.

Printing QR codes

To print GuardTek QR codes, select the QR code icon and select the number of pages you want to print. You can print 48 QR codes per page for letter-size paper or 70 QR codes per page for A4-size paper. 

Once you select Enter, a loading print preview page appears. The system generates GuardTek QR codes and converts them into multiple images, so it may take 10-15 seconds to load the page.

Once the page loads, you can print the QR codes. The page layouts are designed to fit with letter and A4 QR code printing paper. 
 

Adding QR Codes to a Tour

GuardTek QR codes printed using this method are designed to be added to the system and tours using m-Post. After printing the QR codes and preparing them, use the articles below to add them to GuardTek.
