Calculating Payroll in Smartforce

In this article, we will go over how to calculate and recalculate Payroll periods in Smartforce.

How to Calculate Payroll in Smartforce

To calculate the Payroll period in Smartforce:

1. Log onto the web portal as an admin or supervisor. 

2. Hover over the TLM module and select the Scheduled Week option.

3. On the following screen, clear the Weekending filter to show all weeks created in the system, select the weeks you'd like to recalculate Payroll for, then choose the Calculate Payroll Weeks (Selected) option.

4. The below progress bar will display the calculating status of the week in question. Once it has completed, click the Close button to close the window.

5. Alternatively, if you wish, you can calculate Payroll for a week at a time by selecting the Calculate Payroll option under the More dropdown of the main Schedule Details screen (located in the Schedule Maintenance section of the TLM module).

This option will calculate Payroll for the specified week ending shown on the Schedule Details screen.
