Smartforce Quick Create Customer, Location, Position

In this article we will go over how to use the 3 different quick create feature options to create a customer location and position.

How to Quick Create a Customer, Location and Position (Option 1)

To quick create a customer, location and position:

1. Log onto the Trackforce Valiant web portal as an Admin or Supervisor.

2. Hover over the TLM Module and click the Quick Create Customer button in the Important Actions section at the left hand side of the page.

3. In the Quick Create - Customer window select a Start Date and Business Unit.

NOTE: Mandatory fields are marked with a red asterisk mceclip2.png Failure to fill out a mandatory field will result in an error banner when clicking the Quick Create - Customer button.

4. Type in the Customer Name and Number, the Location Name and Number and the Position Name and Number.

5. You have the option to add the Bill and Pay Rates.

NOTE:  If you add Bill and Pay Rates they will go live on the Start Date selected.

Once you have created the Customer, Location and Position click the Quick Create - Customer button at the bottom right hand corner of the page. 

 

How to Quick Create a Customer, Location and Position (Option 2)

To quick create a customer, location and position:

1. Log onto the Trackforce Valiant web portal as an Admin or Supervisor.

2. Hover over the TLM Module and click Business Unit in the Schedule Maintenance sub-heading.

3. Click the Schedule Details button in the Actions column of the Business Unit you want to create a Customer, Location and Position for.

4. Click on the More drop down menu at the top right hand side of the page and click the Quick Create Customer option.

5. In the Quick Create Customer window select a Start Date.

NOTE: Mandatory fields are marked with a red asterisk mceclip2.png

6. Type in the Customer Name and Number, the Location Name and Number and the Position Name and Number.

7. You have the option to add the Bill and Pay Rates.

NOTE:  If you add Bill and Pay Rates they will go live on the Start Date selected.

Once you have created the Customer, Location and Position click the Save button at the bottom right hand corner of the page. 

8.  Once saved it will take you directly to the scheduling page for that Location.

How to Quick Create a Customer, Location and Position (Option 3)

To quick create a customer, location and position:

1. Log onto the Trackforce Valiant web portal as an Admin or Supervisor.

2. Hover over the TLM Module and click Business Unit in the Schedule Maintenance sub-heading.

3. Click the Schedule Details button in the Actions column of the Business Unit you want to create a Customer, Location and Position for.

4. Click on the 3 vertical dots of the Customer button then click Quick Create.

5. You have the option to quick create a Customer, Location and Position by clicking the Customer (1) option or you can quick create additional locations under a the existing Customer by clicking the Location (2) option.

NOTE: Clicking on the 3 vertical dots of the Location button allows you to add another Location (1) or add a Position (2) to that Location.
