In this article we will go over how to manage quick links on the dashboard.
To Add a Quick Link:
1. Log onto the Trackforce Valiant web portal as a Trackforce Valiant employee.
2. From the homepage hover over and click on the Administration module and click Clients.
3. Locate the client you want to add a quick link for and left click on it.
4. On the Clients page click on Quick Links under the Additional Attributes heading.
5. Click on the Create New button.
6. Click on the Link Name: (1) field and name the link.
Click on the Link Description: (2) field and describe what the link is.
Click on the Link: (3) field and type in or paste the URL link.
Click on the Save & New (6) button to add multiple links or click on the Save (6) button to add the link to the dashboard.
7. A green pop up SUCCESS banner will let you know the Quick Link was successfully added.
How to Manage a Quick Link
To manage Quick Links:
1. Log onto the Trackforce Valiant web portal as an Admin or Supervisor.
2. From the homepage hover over and click on the Administration module and click Clients.
3. Locate the client you want to add a quick link for and left click on it.
4. On the Clients page click on Quick Links under the Additional Attributes heading.
5. Right click on the link name and then click on the desired managing option:
Show - Allows you to view the quick link and gives the option to edit from the view page.
Edit - (See details in Step 6 below)
Detail - Allows you to view the quick link and gives the option to edit from the view page.
Delete - Allows you to delete the Quick Link.
6. The edit options allows you to change the Link Name, Link Description and the Link (1).
You can make the Link inactive or reactive and inactive by clicking the Is Active (2) checkbox.
You can place the quick links in a desired Order (3) and turn that option ON or OFF
You can Save or Cancel (4) your edits.
