In this article we will go over how to create a user profile to link the user's Smartforce account to Vision once access has been granted in Smartforce.
NOTE: This step can only be completed once a user has been granted Vision access in Smartforce. For a step by step guide on how to grant Vision access to a user in Smartforce please review the Help Center Article: Granting Access to Vision and Vision Reports for a Client
How to Link Smartforce and Vision
To link a Smartforce account with Vision:
1. Log onto Vision.
2. Click the File Tab and then click Security.
3. Click the New copy paper icon at the bottom right hand corner of the pop-up window.
4. Fill in the Permission Pop-up window.
Login Name: (1) This is not the actual user name they will use to log in. Typically the users first initial and last name is used here.
User Drop Down Menu (2) Click on the drop down menu and select SUPERUSER.
Password (3) add the password as Welcome1
Single Sign-on Acct: (4) Add the email the user uses to log onto their Smartforce account.
Name (Last/First): (5) Add the users last and first name.
Address : (6) Optional
Home Phone: Work Phone: (7) Optional
User Email: (8) Add the same email as in the Single Sign-on Acct: field.
5. Click the Save icon at the bottom right hand corner of the pop-up window.
