How to Add Equipment
To add equipment:
1. Log onto the Guardtek Web portal as a Supervisor.
2. Hover over the Settings module and click Equipment in the drop-down menu.
3. Click the green Add Equipment button.
4. In the Equipment drop down menu you will be able to specify the type of equipment you want to add.
NOTE: The equipment 2 options are:
- Equipment - This can be any item or object such as keys, flashlights, or some other item needed at a Post.
- Guardtek License - A reporting device used to by this system to submit information.
If you select to add Equipment you can give the equipment an appropriate and easily identifiable name in the Name (1) field.
Some examples may include keys, flashlights, or some other item needed for the post.
If applicable there is an option to add a Serial Number (2).
You can specify how many of a piece of equipment or an item there are - Quantity (3).
You can specify the condition of a piece of equipment Condition / Alerts (4).
You also have the option to provide a description of the equipment or item(s) - Description (opt) (5).
Adding a Guardtek License
If you select Guardtek License an additional dropdown menu (Equipment Type) will appear and give you the option to add a specific type of reporting device.
Note: Android and iOS devices can be added via the Android and iOS Apps, however specific user rights are required; these rights are limited to certain users and have additional prerequisites. Contact Trackforce for additional information.

Once all the appropriate information is selected or entered into the entry fields, then click the green Create button at the bottom right hand corner.
